Hi, I’m Lindsey French—founder of The Salt & Seed Kitchen and a Tampa, Florida native with a lifelong passion for cooking.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the one bringing people together through food. Whether it’s a holiday meal, a birthday celebration, or a warm, comforting dish delivered during life’s more difficult moments, I believe in the power of comfort food catering. To me, food is more than a meal. It’s care, connection, and comfort all on one plate.
After earning my Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts, I spent nearly 20 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, honing my skills and deepening my love for serving others. Now, I’m bringing that experience into your home through personalized meal services designed to nourish both body and soul.
After six years in Wisconsin raising our three children, my husband and I felt God calling us back to Florida in 2025. While the journey hasn’t looked exactly how we expected, it led me to discover a renewed purpose—using my gifts in the kitchen to serve others in a more meaningful, personal way. That calling became The Salt & Seed Kitchen.
Inspired by Matthew 5 and Matthew 17, the name reflects a mission to bring light, comfort, and joy into people’s lives—through simple acts of service and faith. Just as salt enhances flavor and even the smallest mustard seed can move mountains, I believe a thoughtfully prepared meal can make a powerful difference in someone’s day.
The Salt & Seed Kitchen specializes in providing fresh, home-cooked meals for families and individuals who need an extra hand. Whether you’re recovering from illness, welcoming a new baby, supporting a loved one, or simply trying to keep up with a busy season of life.

You can pick up your order or enjoy the convenience of delivery for a fee. Our delivery fees are as followed.

All meals are freshly made and fully cooked. Most meals re-heat best in the oven, covered with foil at 350 degrees until hot throughout. Soups are best re-heated on the stovetop. View the complete reheating instructions guide

The Brownie Crusted Chocolate Cheesecake is pure indulgence. Each bite is silky and creamy, with a deep, rich chocolate flavor that feels both luxurious and comforting. The texture is perfectly smooth, almost melting on the tongue. A must-try for any chocolate lover craving something truly satisfying.

The iced lemon loaf was absolutely incredible. Perfectly moist, just the right amount of lemon, and the icing was unreal. It tasted like something from a cozy bakery, but even better because you can feel the love in it. My family devoured it in minutes. We’ll definitely be ordering more.
